Welcome to another edition of the NJFBLA Five Faces! Although many of us have the goal to pursue a business-related career, it cannot be stressed enough how FBLA can benefit you no matter where you go in life. This is the premier student business organization, but it provides to you with the Keys to Success no matter what you want to do! So without further ado, here are the October FBLA Five Faces; read them, vote on them and let me know what you think!
Electrician
Without electricians, there would be no lights, no computers, and no TVs plugged into our walls. Electricians bring us electricity by installing the wires that carry electricity through houses, offices, and factories. Without electricians, conducting business would be impossible and we would all be left in the dark!

Nurse
Nurses, also called registered nurses or RNs, take care of sick and injured people. They give patients medicine, treat their wounds, and give them and their families emotional support. Nurses are important parts of all hospitals and truly make patients feel more comfortable when they are sick.

Police Officer
Police officers enforce laws. They catch criminals, collect evidence, and sometimes testify in court. Others patrol set areas to prevent crime, give out traffic tickets, or direct traffic. Police officers must follow protocol and cannot give anyone, themselves included, special treatment.

Statistician
Statisticians help to design surveys and experiments. They also collect, analyze, and interpret numerical data. Some work for businesses and some work in government. Their work is very important for businesses to understand trends and plan for the future.

Paralegal
Paralegals, or legal assistants, help lawyers in their work. Paralegals investigate cases to make sure that lawyers know all of the important facts. They also do legal research by looking up laws and past cases in books and on computers. Then, they write reports that lawyers use to help prepare their cases.
