NJ•FBLA Launches 2010-2011 Website

I begin my first of blog post of my term strongly encouraging all member to become a fan of the NJ•FBLA Facebook page which can be accessed here.  That being said, I also encourage you to recommend all of your Facebook friends to become a fan as well.  The NJ•FBLA fan page in addition to this blog will be the main medium that will allow the state officers to interact directly with the members and local chapter officers.

The new redesigned website offers a host of new features including a new, intuitive and easy-to-use design.  I was able to build off of the hard work that Dan, the previous webmaster, put in last year, as well as improve of the site as a whole.

Files are now conveniently organized in the Resources tab of the site and overall navigation throughout the site has been improved by using drop-down menus and sub headings.  There is now one single blog that all officers will contribute to regularly.  All updates regarding competitive events and anything else at the state level will be posted in the blog.

Feedback is always welcome.  Members should not hesitate to leave a comment.  The blog commenting is integrated with Facebook for convenience.

Kulpreet attends Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, NJ and currently serves as the state webmaster.
